1990s-themed survival/horror role-playing game

Alisa is a horror-themed role-playing game that offers many elemental throwbacks associated with 1990s software platforms. Boasting retro-inspired graphics and plenty of action, little is left to the imagination in terms of classic PS1-styled entertainment. There are countless weapon load-outs, plus the difficulty level can be adjusted.

In some ways, Alisa can be likened to other retro-themed RPGs, such as Wolfenstein 3D. This is especially in relation to an emphasis on a rich plot combined with action-packed cutscenes. While the gameplay itself is somewhat simple compared to modern bundles, Alisa boasts an undeniably nostalgic appeal.

Challenging survival scenarios

Players will take on the role of an Elite Royal Agent who uses the callsign 'Alisa.' She is pursuing a well-known criminal when she suddenly finds herself trapped within a Victorian mansion. Wits and skill alone will ultimately determine whether she survives the ordeals that await.

More than evasion alone

There are several skills to obtain as well as a number of resource drops located throughout the mansion. These are absolutely necessary, as demonic enemies will need to be dispatched if players hope to descend even further into the depths of this forbidding environment.

Surprises with a touch of dark humor

While many elements within Alisa mirror classic horror RPGs, there are also instances when dark humor is present. This offers players a unique experience when compared to other 1990s platforms that focused solely on blood, gore and violence.

A great experience for players of any age

Some users have compared Alisa to other hit platforms, such as Silent Hill 2. While this could very well be the case, even those who grew up well after the 1990s and early 2000s should be entertained. Those who already love franchises, including the Lara Croft series, should take a closer look at Alisa.
